Brianna Gosse wins big at MusicNL awards Earlier this year Gosse released her debut album, "Aera," and on Sunday night, it earned her two of MusicNL's biggest awards: Female Artist of the Year and FACTOR Album of the Year.
A predominately jazz pop record with hints of other genres, "Aera" was produced by fellow musician Chris Kirby, and shows how far Gosse has come in terms of self confidence and finding her own style. "I'm still new. I'm only 20," a smiling Gosse told The Telegram before the show. "To just be nominated for these awards means more to me than anything. I can't even think about what winning would mean." Songwriting, for Gosse who also performed at the show comes natural. For her, it's a way of making sense of the world.
